§ 15-8-325

Fire-protective treatments and coatings

Where exposed to the weather, fire-retardant treated wood and intumescent coatings shall not be regarded as imparting any permanent fire-resistive or reduced flame spread properties to wood structures and shall not entitle such structures to requirements less stringent than those outlined in Sections 15-8-320 through 15-8-324 and 15-8-330 through 15-8-360.
